Departing from Chichester marina, Gunwharf Quays, Ocean Village Southampton or Lymington up to 12 guests
A warm welcome onboard from your skipper & host, luxury breakfast pastries and juices will be served. Once settled the skipper will run through our onboard safety briefing & your host will be offering a tour of the yacht & onboard guest facility’s.
We slip the lines and make our way out onto the Solent, guests will enjoy a mix of high speed exhilarating and leisurely cruising, whilst savouring all the beauty and history on the Solent. Cowes is set in the most northly point of the Isle of wight, expect an arrival time around 1pm, however we will work to your plans for the day.
Sitting on the entrance to the river Medina Cowes is home to the largest event dates in the diary, Cowes pretty much an essential during your charter onboard Explorer.
During your time onshore you will find a great selection of English pubs and fine food. Cowes shopping is predominantly boating based with a selection of specialist foodstuffs.
You will have plenty time to relax and explore while we prepare Explorer for your return.
A warm welcome awaits with cold drinks ready as you re-board for an exciting afternoon exploring and making memories. You can choose to return back to our departure point or arrange a drop-off at the souths of England’s premier designer outlet shopping facility Gunwharf, here you will find an abundance of entertainment, restaurants and bars to carry on the evenings enjoyment. With fantastic transport links close by to utilize when your ready.

As we approach Cowell Bay, home to the famous Hut restaurant where the rich and famous choose to spend their best days. The food is a delightful mix of fresh seafood, steaks other dishes from around the world to explore.
The Needles are magnificent chalk stacks standing 100ft high, situated on the far western point of the island are a must see, considered one of the wonders of southern England and all that more impressive from the yacht. Also from this position Alum bays stunning multi coloured sand cliffs meet the needles marine conservation zone.
If you have pre booked the Hut for lunch (We have a fantastic relationship with the restaurant and can arrange a lovely a table for you) we will arrange to have you taken ashore, alternatively we can make a lunch stop off during our trip eastward from this position. The day will be wrapped up with an exciting cruise exploring as we head back towards our departure location, or choose a drop-off at the souths of England’s premier designer outlet shopping facility Gunwharf where you will find an abundance of entertainment, restaurants and bars to carry on the evenings enjoyment. Every guest has their ideal charter day and its our job to deliver just that. We will spend time creating an unforgettable day (for all the right reasons) for you and your chosen guests (up to 12 Guests)
Some guests want to relax with a drink in hand, others want the thrills of 1500hp blasting around the Solent, to be fair personally we enjoy a bit of both! And so do most of our guests.
Let us tailor a day just for you, more now than ever we need things to look forward to and some well deserved fun.

Our bespoke charter days are charged at
Half day 9:30am – 2:00pm (weekdays) £1750 (weekends) £1900
Full day 10:00am – 6:00pm (weekdays) £2725 (weekends) £2875
This covers reasonable fuel usage, 25nm for half day & 40nm full day. Further distances will incur a fuel charge of £10 per NM (cost price for us) & will be discussed at time of booking. All marina charges payable by customer. Included in your charters will be arrival drink & all soft and hot drinks throughout the day.

Wi-Fi on board, commercial ice maker, stereo system, water sports garage with a Williams jet tender, paddle boards (jet tender / paddle boards extra charges apply) if you fancy a dip and the skipper deems it safe to do so! We use a floating line to create a sea swimming area & hot shower provided as you exit the water…
